Suntory Hall ― renowned for its fantastic acoustics and orchestral intimacy despite its size. The Tokyo Phil proudly presents six performances in the Suntory subscription series this year. Expect sonority both rich and delicate, perhaps most of all in Beethoven’s 6th symphony, which its conductor, Maestro Myung-Whun Chung, calls the “music of prayer.”
